Everything you read on this blog is actually true. As in, this is a genuine, non-fiction blog. Generally, I don't name names when the parties concerned are (a) related to me and/or (b) under the age of majority, and therefore no matter how funny they are, unable to give their informed consent to have their hilarious but true commentary on the ridiculousness of life publicized globally. I do, however, skirt the issue of crediting them by admitting it was not ME who came up with their jokes, but "some kid." (Works for most of us.)

Since I am so very glad you didn’t say “Manchester United,” I will reveal just whom I am supporting by wearing my very silly-looking supporter hat – which I got, by the way, while I was in Adlington, Lancs, which is within spitting distance of Manchester, oddly.
Boy, are folks avid footballers there. Luckily, I had my cousins to protect me. And a teenaged cousin who was so dead-on with her American accent she kept throwing me off – I didn’t even notice she was doing it; I just kept talking to her until I noticed everyone around me was laughing their “arses” off.
Ha Ha.

The side of the Hat facing the camera is a St Georgs Cross and would therefore be an ‘England’ Supporters Hat! Unless there are any Canons or associated paraphenalia on the other side I regretfully inform you that the only link between it and my beloved Woolwich Arsenal Football club are the colours!
